Jean Rouzaud (1923–2014) was a French artist known for his geometric, graphic, and abstract paintings. He studied at the Toulouse School of Fine Arts, where his passion for painting took precedence over his architectural studies. In the 1960s, he settled in the town of Sète, where he established an artist's house on Mont Saint Clair, overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. Rouzaud's art was influenced by the New York Abstract Expressionists, and his works are characterized by precision, lyricism, and luminosity.
Tisca rugs are handcrafted, primarily made from pure wool, and offered as unique pieces. The company's manufactory is located at the crossroads of four countries – Austria, Germany, Switzerland, and Liechtenstein – where the tradition of weaving has been preserved for generations. Since 1963, they have been producing handwoven rugs, emphasizing the preservation of traditional techniques combined with innovation. Tisca rugs are renowned for their durability, long lifespan making them a perfect fit for any interior.
