Rocking chair by Angel Pazmino for Meubles de Estilo 1960's

Vintage embossed leather rocking chair Designed by Angel Pazmino for Meubles de Estilo in the late 1960s. Ecuador had received an US aid project to encourage native craftsmanship. Local designers where given the opportunity to meet Danish modernists and exchange knowledge and ideas. This collaboration led to some great examples of traditional joinery applied to modern shapes with the use of high quality solid wood and leather.
