Wayne Husted for Stelvia Glass Vase with Raised Flower Design 1970's

This is a beautiful glass Antigua vase designed by well-known American glass artist and designer Wayne Husted for Stelvia. Stelvia stands for the Società Toscana Esercizio Lavorazione Vetri Industriali e Artistici and is located in Empoli, Italy. Made in Italy in the 1970s, this footed vase features an oval body and a flared mouth and features a raised flower design which was part of Stella's Antiqua range, designed by Wayne Husted, a well known designer from the Blenko glassworks working as the manufacturer's lead designer from 1952 to 1963. The vase is cm 36 cm tall and 12 cm at its widest point.
