"Luciano Florio Paccagnella is a hero of the Memphis Group, forgotten by history. He designed the Memphis Group's first invitation cards. Paccagnella was discovered by Matteo Thun after he graduated from the Brera Academy of Fine Arts in Milan.

He met Ettore Sottsass in the 1970s, which led to the founding of a graphic design company with designers Marco Zanini and Aldo Cibic. Ettore Sottsass appreciated Paccagnella's work and considered him one of the best airbrush designers in Europe.

The respect was mutual: Paccagnella was so inspired by the geometric shapes and pop colours of Sottsass's Yantra vases that he created his own series of vases with geometric lines and striking colours."

Signed Waterproof.

All of Paccagnella’s vases are handmade, hand painted and glazed.
