Pair of Bauhaus Tubular Side Tables after Marcel Breuer, Italy, 1990
The Laccio side table was designed by Marcel Breuer in 1925 as he was a designer at the Bauhaus. Like his Wassily and Cesca chairs, the Laccio tables are critical to the story of 20th century design. Breuer’s use of tubular steel has inspired generations of designers. The table has a base made of tubular steel with polished chrome finish and a white laminate top. Both tables are in very good vintage condition and marked with the handmade in Italy label. Tiny damage on one.
