A highly rare and collectible early first-edition Swan Chair designed by Arne Jacobsen and manufactured by Fritz Hansen around 1958–1960. This example retains its original cognac leather upholstery, which has developed a rich and expressive natural patina. Not reupholstered, not restored – an authentic, historically valuable specimen.

An important detail of this early production model is its adjustable height mechanism, a feature present only on the earliest and most sought-after editions, making this piece especially desirable among connoisseurs and design collectors.

The Fritz Hansen embossed maker’s mark on the underside has naturally worn with age, though its placement and impression remain visible, confirming originality and provenance.
