Set of Four Black Moser 1-250 Wooden Dining Chairs, Werner Max Moser Design

An elegant set of four wooden dining chairs featuring Werner Max Moser's iconic 1-250 design, originally introduced in 1931 and subsequently produced by the renowned Swiss furniture manufacturer Horgenglarus.

Distinguished by their slender silhouettes, gently curved rear legs, moulded plywood seats and elegantly shaped backrests, these chairs exemplify the functional simplicity and refined proportions of Swiss modernist furniture.

The original Moser chair became one of Horgenglarus' most recognisable designs, celebrated for its understated elegance, structural clarity and remarkable versatility.

The four chairs have been repainted black, giving the set a cohesive appearance that works particularly well in contemporary interiors. Their compact proportions make them suitable for dining rooms, creative workspaces and architectural settings.

According to the previous information available about the set, the chairs originally carried manufacturer's labels. Following repainting, only traces of the former labels remain, and the original markings are no longer legible. Although the construction and design closely correspond to the Moser 1-250 model, the manufacturer and exact production date of these particular chairs cannot currently be independently verified.
