Vintage Japanese Rattan Rocking Horse, 20th Century

Vintage Japanese Rattan Rocking Horse, 20th Century

A charming vintage rocking horse from Japan, distinguished by its sculptural silhouette and beautifully curved rattan construction.

Its elegantly stylised horse's head, rich brown finish and gently contoured seat of dark rattan slats create a playful yet sophisticated design. Natural rattan bindings highlight the craftsmanship and add warmth and character to the piece.

Sturdy and stable, with a lovely vintage patina and signs of age and use. Equally appealing as a nostalgic childhood object or a decorative accent in a thoughtfully curated interior.
